Support victim-survivors of domestic and family violence

*All donations are calculated in Australian dollars ($AUD)

The Women’s Services Network (Wesnet) Inc is the national peak body working to eliminate violence against women and their children. We provide support to Specialist Women’s Services across Australia who work with women and children experiencing domestic and family violence.

Donations to Wesnet support us in our efforts to eliminate violence against women and children in Australia by enabling us to:

  • Ensure more women and families can access free Uber rides to the support they need – whether their destination is a shelter, a police station, or a lawyer’s office.

  • Continue to provide direct relief, such as smartphones, to women and children in need through our network of members.

  • Train frontline workers about good practice approaches to reduce the impact and harm of domestic and family violence.

  • Provide educational resources and advice for women and children to increase their safety, particularly in relation to technology-facilitated abuse.

  • Provide Co-Advice appointments to frontline workers to support women experiencing technology-facilitated abuse.

Have you thought about becoming a regular donor?

One of the best ways to support Wesnet is to become a monthly donor. Start with as little as $20 a month — around the same price of buying one coffee a week!  It takes two minutes and it is an easy and convenient way to manage your donation.

  • $30 – Could fund postage costs to send ‘Safe Phones’ for women escaping abuse to our frontline services or provide the average cost of an Uber return ride to a woman escaping violence.

  • $50 – Could help tech specialists to advise frontline services and women experiencing tech abuse.

  • $100 – Could help provide essential support for a woman planning to leave a violent relationship.

  • $500 – Could help Wesnet keep tech abuse resources up to date so that women have reliable and trustworthy advice to help them stay on technology and hold their abusers accountable.

  • $1000 – Could help a survivor get expert advice in a series of joint appointments with a Wesnet Techsafety Specialist and her caseworker to help with compromised technology.
